Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat and BJP’s National President JP Nadda will attend the three-day all India coordination meeting of the RSS-affiliated bodies in Gandhinagar that begins today. Around 150 delegates from 39 organisations affiliated to the RSS including VHP, Rashtriya Sevika Samiti and others will share their experiences and feedback with each other at the Karnavati University campus in Gandhinagar, RSS’ Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Aruk Kumar said.

Among the others who will be in attendance include RSS General Secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi, President of All India Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Ramchandra Kharadi, ABVP President Chhagan Patel, Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh’s Hiranmay Pandya, Rashtra Sevika Samiti Chief V Shantha Kumari, VHP’s International Working President Alok Kumar, Swadesi Jagran Manch National Convenor R Sundaram and others.

“This is not a platform to take any decision. All the organisations are free, autonomous and self-supporting and they all have definite work areas. The meeting is held twice a year in September and January,” Kumar said. RSS-affiliated organisations will share their experiences of the Covid-19 situation that had several people join them even from far-flung areas, Kumar said.

The meeting will also have discussions on how members could volunteer for a door-to-door campaign to collect donations for Ram Temple. Besides current issues, discussions will also be held on various aspects like growing awareness among the people regarding Indian lifestyle and yoga, food habits, importance of family values, ‘Swadeshi’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, he said.
